El Rescate

I'm glad that all the kids had a good time in yet another trip to Disneyland.  Definitely going to have to do that when I get back.  Hey another thing, in one week it's my birthday, and in a year from that I will be arriving home.  Crazy huh?  Like I have said in the past, time flies.  It will be weird to have done something for two years of my life, and then just have it stop.  I can see why it would be a hard adjustment for some return missionaries. How does Josh feel about coming home soon?  He will be able to Skype you guys about a month before he's home.

Well today we played soccer with some other missionaries.  I can proudly say that I have improved a lot in soccer and I am a lot better than I used to be.  I will keep practicing to make you proud mom!! And I continue to lose weight.  I had my pants tailored and they are starting to get loose again, sweet!  Everyone here has gone back to school and so our work has picked up a little.

Don't have any really cool experience this week, except that our Mission President has been meeting with a lot of apostles and seventies, and we have a new program called "El Rescate".  It is a program on the computer to find the 190,000 members here in Chile, that we have no idea where they live.  We are going to be bringing a lot of people back to the church with this.

I am sure that everyone says this about their mission president but I am sure that President Wright is going to be an apostle.  He is way beast in everything he does and is really hardcore on obedience which is awesome.  I am really grateful to have him as a Mission President.  I have learned a lot of things and have really had a change of heart out here.  It is a really amazing feeling to be able to have the spirit with you 24/7.  It really guides you in every aspect of your live.  I have really seen how God fulfills every single promise in the scriptures.

The mission is definitely the only place a 18-19 year old man should be.  It is one of the greatest blessing that someone can receive.

Love,

Elder Nathan Lee
