Earthquakes

Well lots of little earthquakes have been going on lately.  We live on the seventh floor of our building so we feel every little movement.  People say that a big one is going to come in the north of Chile, but I'm not so sure.  Hopefully it happens while I'm here.  It would be a cool story to bring back home.

We have an Investigator that is progressing pretty well.  His name is Patricio and he is forty years old.  We found him in the records that other missionaries had left.  He follows through with every commitment we leave him.  We last taught him the Word of Wisdom and the Law of Chastity and he was really willing to obey the both of them and since we have passed by he has done really well at obeying those two commandments.  It is just a really big testimony to me of the power the gospel has in changing the lives of the people.

 

We just had changes here but nothing happened to me or my companion so we are still here in Vicuña Makenna doing work, showing the people what it's all about.  We got some more rules this week from President.  Now we cant go to malls or we can't go bowling.  He is really cracking down. It's alright I just have to obey for a year longer.  Well Mother's day will be here in like 2 months, or whenever it is, so I will be able to Skype again soon.  Have a great week.

 

Tell Ben he will learn soon enough that the higher you jump the more the fall hurts.
