The Mission is the Greatest!

Another week gone by and not much different.  This morning I learned what it means to be translated.  Turns out those people will be resurrected as well.  It really gets fun to study in the morning when you learn so much. There are many examples in the scriptures where people receive revelation (vision, angels, the voice of the Lord...). What I like to do is look and see what they were doing before they received the vision.  There is a pattern of things that are done before the revelation is recieved.  This has been a huge help to me throughout my mission. Whenever I am in need of some good revelation for some of my investigators I have been able to implement these things and get that good quality revelation.  That's the best part of studying.  Learning something and then trying it out and seeing that it works.

The mission is the greatest.  It is the coolest thing when people tell you how much you mean to them, or when you share something with them and they say "Thats just what I needed."  Of course I miss you guys too but there is something special about being on a mission.

It is always awesome to see that everyone is doing well, and it is so weird to think that Anna and Stu have another kid.  I can only picture the two crazy kids that they have already had.  I bet it was a blast for all of the kids to be there together for a weekend, and Rachel seems to be having the time of her life in England.  There has been a crazy big fire in the north of Chile and they have been evacuating missionaries from there, and more north in Chile (3 weeks ago)  there was an  earthquake and they had to take some missionaries out from there. All signs of the second coming!!! And dont know if I said this already but they took all missionaries out of Venezuela and now someone told me they are starting to take them out of Ukraine.  Crazy stuff!!!  Well here in Santiago everything is super calm and nothing happens, hopefully we can get an earthquake in here soon that would be pretty cool.

Well on that note I love you soo much, and will talk to you all next week!!

Love,

Elder Nate Lee
