Reading the Book of Mormon Pays Off

Well I have to say that the Gilbert temple looks awesome.  I cant wait to go inside.  Sounds like the missionaries are doing some pretty good work over there, that's good news.  Ideally they should wait to baptize the whole family but then again they are the ones receiving revelation for these people, hopefully they turn out alright.  They need to make sure they include the converts a lot otherwise they will likely go inactive. Are the missionaries regularly having baptisms?  They seem to be doing better than us down here.
We did visit with a lot of less actives and we finally had a family come to church. We had been working with them pretty hard, reading the Book of Mormon with them every night we come over and all our hard work finally paid off. Now we just have to keep getting them excited
about coming to church. We also had 2 investigators at church one has a baptismal date and the other one doesn't, but his mother-in-law just kicked him and his wife out of her house so we are hoping they will be able to find a place to rent here pretty soon. But the other investigator's baptismal date is
set for the 9th of march, and the guy has already gone to church twice so we are hoping that he can get his answer that the Book of Mormon is true pretty soon.

The mission life is so weird.  We are 18 to 21 year olds in a foreign country preaching about God to a bunch of people.  We don't watch TV, play video games, or anything.  And we work every day.  Any normal kid at this age is partying it up at college, or working.  It really is an experience that not many people will have.  And time goes by like no other.  In two weeks two of the companions that I have had go home, and like three months after Josh is home.  It feels like it was so long ago when I left and it feels like a few weeks, really weird.

Well gotta go talk next week!!!

Love,

Elder Nate Lee
