Overcome by the Spirit

This last week went really well for me.  We didn't have a whole lot of lessons but I grew a lot spiritually.  One night Elder Cottrell and I went back to the pension at 9:20, but after a while we felt like we needed to go back out and look for somebody.  We said a prayer and left, and immediately I felt the spirit guiding me at every corner telling me which way I should go.  We only had one good contact with a guy who said we could talk to him and his whole family.  But even if we didn't find anybody that night I know without a doubt that I was being directed by the Holy Ghost.  And all throughout the rest of the week I have made a significant effort to keep that same spirit with me and I have noticed a huge difference in everything that comes to my mind and the way the Spirit directs me.  It is really something incredible.  And the other day we gave a blessing to one of our investigators that we found recently.  He had some problem with his eye and the next day he was going to go get an operation.  I did the sealing and the blessing.  It reminded me of those times in the scriptures where it says "overcome by the spirit"  I know that every single word that left my mouth was  specifically directed by the Spirit, and that I truly felt "overcome by the spirit".  I definitely have recognized the importance of having the spirit with in everything that we do.  My goal is from now own to continually keep this spirit with me so I can be an instrument in the hands of the Lord. 

 

Other than that our week was very uneventful.  Today we spent 17 bucks on lunch for all you can eat pizza.  And the pizza was not very good I was really disappointed.  Next week for P-Day we are probably just going to rest, cause I am way tired.  Well can't think of anything else!!!
