Investigator Struggles

We had a normal week again but everything seems to be happening so that our investigaters wouldn't be able to come to church.  The frist week a professional skater came in from Holland, the second week the mom accidently gave her kid too much insulin so they had to stay home and take care of him, and this last Sunday they went on vacation to the beach.  The mom says that she knows these things are true and she says she wants to go to church just circumstances have been really bad.

We also have a less active member that has had a problem with the word of wisdom.  She used to have a smoking problem but after a while she got rid of it.  Her whole family smokes and drinks, and so they are cold to her if she doesnt do it with them. So she smokes with them so that she can be close to her family, and she says she only smokes about half of a ciggarete and she says it´s not that bad. We talked to her a little bit and left her a Word of wisdom pamphlet so I think it helped a little.  I am still unsure on how to help her with this problem, other than she has to stop seeing her family.  She also has a hard time getting to church on Sunday.  During the week she seems to be really excited to go but then Sunday morning she just doesnt have very much desire to go.  We gave her a blessing of strength so it could be easier for her to go to church and stop smoking completely.

But yeah thats all thats be happening this week.
