Ben is ridiculously funny I hope he is this funny when I get back. Well some interesting stuff happened this week. On Sunday they announced the changes that are going to be happening with two wards that are right next to each other. First they dissolved the two existing wards and then released the bishoprics. Then they announced the new limits of the ward and called new bishoprics. Then right after church we had a baptism. We baptized Diana. She was awesome. She had been living with a man for a long time but so she could get baptized she moved out and started living with her sister a mile away. So now I officially have one baptism. And Henry the man she was living with wants to change his life around so he wants to get baptized too. I think we will baptize him in two weeks.
But anyway, that same day at 8:30 we had to have a meeting with the mission leaders, President, his wife and 4 elders and 4 sister missionaries to see how we were going to divide up the new sectors of the wards. So now we are going to have 2 elders and 2 sisters in the both wards. There are 5 wards in the entire mission that have both elders and sisters, and now I'm in one of them. So yeah other than that it was a normal week of missionary work!
Yeah I got all the Elders I live with addicted to mate its kinda funny. I have slowed down on the ukulele and I haven't learned anything super Chilean but I have learn how to play "Paint it black" and "Rain drops are falling on my head" and "Wanted dead or alive" and "White Christmas"
The Chileans speak in "vo" which is basically voz but they don't pronounce the s sound.and instead of saying "voz sois" they say "vo soy" so it gets really confusing sometimes, but only the flaites (gangsters) talk like that the majority of the people use the tu form. only rarely do they use usted.
I will try to be better about the pictures!
Love Elder Nate Lee
