Dear Family,
It gets easier and harder at times. I get home sick in the mornings and at night. I couldn´t find a ukulele but I took out 40,000 pesos which I think is about 80 bucks, and I bought a Universidad de Chile jersey I will have to take a picture of it and show it to you. I love P-Days even though we only have only two horas to walk around and doing stuff. Then uno hora to write to our familias. The past three weeks we have gone to the giant mall at the bottom of the tallest building in South America. We call it the tower of Babel. I didn't take any new pictures this week but this is my last week here in the CCM down here so I finally get to see the fruits of my labor. I got an email from Ben Rowden and he basically said that he thinks its cool that I´m down here at the MTC and that he is really sad that he only has six more months left.
We have some 5 new North american missionaries but one of them already speaks Spanish, and he's from Brooklyn so that's kinda sweet. My ankle hasn´t really changed much, but I decided I can play soccer so I have for the past four days, even though the doctor said nothing for six weeks...I waited about two. It is a lot better when we get to go out before we write because it makes me less homesick. I am so tired and I don't think it will change at all. One morning we were doing introductions with people in the temple square. (to practice our Spanish) and me and my companion (not in a trio any more) decided to go and talk to this guy raking leaves outside the fence. We ended up finding out that God has had a big impact in his life and then we gave him a pass along card and told him to go to Mormon.org. That was fun and I think later this week we get to go on splits with more experienced missionaries and proselyte for three hours. Everything here is super small especially the people. I feel like I´m with all the midgets in the Wizard of Oz. I am soo excited to leave here!!!! We walked around a lot today and my feet kinda hurt but I need to get used to it. And as for stray dogs its true even in the city. They are just everywhere. Not been attacked yet though.
